NATHALIE BONIN, VIOLINIST


Very active on the local and international scene, Nathalie explores all styles of music. Guest soloist with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra directed by Wynton Marsalis, she is a member of numerous Jazz projects including the New York based Jazz quintet: Ted Nash and ODEON which released their second CD: La Espade de la Noche, in 2005. Soloist with the SMCQ, she regularly joins the members of the Orchestre Métropolitain directed by Yannick Nézet-Séguin.


Nathalie has collaborated with: Charles Aznavour, Wynton Marsalis, Moist, Gino Vannelli, Garou, Roch Voisine, Riccardo Cocciante, Isabelle Boulay, Lara Fabian, Bruno Pelletier, Michaël Girard, Coral Egan, Marie-Élaine Thibert, Marie-Denise Pelletier, Gage, Nanette Workman, Marc-André Fortin, Bran Van 3000, Yann Perreau, Cirque du Soleil and Cirque Éloïze. She has played on more than 60 albums and numerous television and movie soundtracks such as: Sans Elle, Les Muses orphelines, Aurore, René and Maurice Richard as well as the soundtrack of the musical: Dracula: Entre l’amour et la mort.
